Q: Do I have to pay before I arrive at Finsnes Gaard?
A: Yes. To gain access to Finsnes Gaard and your room, you must pay for your stay by using the payment link you will be sent. 

Q: When will I receive a code for the room?
A: The code for the room or sea house will be sent out between 12 noon and 3 pm on the day you arrive at Finsnes Gaard.

Q: Does Finsnes Gaard have a reception?
A: No, but we will always be available by email or phone. 

Q: Is it possible to book a room on the same day that I will spend the night?
A: Yes, you can book on our website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you book on the same day, after 3pm and pay, you will receive information about check-in and the code within a few minutes.

Q: Is there parking?
A: Yes, we have free parking right outside the gate at Finsnes Gaard. 

Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

Q: Is it far to the city center and Senja?
A: No. We are located by the sea almost in the center of Finnsnes, only 100 meters to the nearest shop. It is only 3.3 km to Senja.

Q: Can I extend my stay when I stay with you?
A: Yes, just send another email, then we will extend your stay and send you a payment link.

Q: Does Finsnes Gaard have free wifi?
A: Yes, we have. During the summer of 2018, we will have fiber from Altibox with very good speed. 

Q: What about TV and TV channels?
A: All the sea houses and the apartment have their own flat screen with 50 channels.  

Q: Can you book a room with an extra bed? 
A: No, maximum number of guests per room / lake house is stated when you book your stay. It is possible to borrow a cot at no extra cost.

Q: Does it cost anything extra to have younger children in the same room as their parents?
A: No.

Q: Is food and drink served at Finsnes Gaard?
A: No, our concept is self-catering, but it is walking distance to the nearest grocery store and restaurant. 

Q: Is Finsnes Gaard HC friendly? 
A: No. 

Q: Can you book early check-in / late check-out?
A: Yes, but we cannot guarantee this. Send us a request by email to

Q: What is included in the stay?
A: All rooms are equipped with bed linen and towels, soap and toilet paper.  

Q: Is washing of the room included in the rent?
A: Yes, it is, but not during the actual stay. Should you/you need bed linen and/or towels in addition to this, just contact us by e-mail then we will arrange this as soon as possible.
