Finsnes Gaard is Finnsnes' oldest house, built early on the
19th century and built in approx. year 1880. The farm is a listed building. Previous owner, Hans-Kristian Sørensen, moved the house to Innerneset 7, in 2005 and started extensive work to restore the house to its current appearance. In 2014, 4 sea houses were also completed.   
   
Finsnes Gaard is located in a quiet and idyllic area down by the sea in the children's village of Finnsnes. Finnsnes is strategically located 1 hour by fast boat from the northern Paris-Icelandic city of Tromsø, and only 40 minutes from Bardufoss airport. SAS lands here.
 
Finnsnes is located at the gateway to beautiful Senja and from Finsnes Gaard you can see the island from the quayside of the farm while you enjoy the crashing waves from the sea. You can also see Hurtigruten everyday sailing between Finnfjorden and Laksfjorden, and under the Gisund Bridge, before it again leaves Finnsnes out to Gisundet on its way to Tromsø.
