Product information
Finsnes Gaard AS offers rental of double rooms, apartements and sea houses for 2-6 people for self-catering. When booking rooms and sea houses, bed linen and towels are included. Room cleaning and washing of towels and bed linen during the stay are not included, but washing after the stay is included in the rental price.  
 
Finsnes Gaard AS uses an online booking, payment and check-in/check-out system. There is no staffed reception. Access to the rooms, the sea houses and the common areas is via a code lock. The code for the locks is sent automatically via SMS and email between 12.00 and 15.00 on the check-in date. The code is used throughout the stay and is valid from 15.00 check-in date and stops to work after 11.00 check-out date.

Purchase and rental conditions
An SMS and email with a code will be sent on the check-in date. The rooms are reserved immediately after the payment has been completed. This is done by an email being sent to you with a receipt for the stay. This receipt is proof that you, as a guest, have reserved a room for the stated time period, and are therefore entitled to accommodation for the given period.
 
Payment
We require full payment for the stay until the day before arrival. Payment link/invoice will be sent out.
 
Personal information
Finsnes Gaard AS processes personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act. Information that can be linked to you as a person will never be made available to other businesses or linked with other external registers.
 
Card information
When you shop at Finsnes Gaard AS, the payment is processed by NETS.  This is a secure electronic payment solution for Visa and MasterCard/Eurocard. All card information is stored in accordance with the card companies' regulations.
 
Cancellation
If you have booked a stay, you can cancel free of charge up to 1 day before the arrival date (1 month if renting longer than 14 days). 
Cancellations from and including 1 day before the arrival date we charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the total price. 
If you book a stay and do not check in, you must pay the full total price.
If you regret your order, cancellation is available for 24 hours after the order was made. 
If the day of arrival is the day after the order was made, cancellation is available for 4 hours after the order was made.

Complaint
If there is an error or defect in the product, you must, within a reasonable time after you discover it, give Finsnes Gaard AS written notice (e-mail or letter) that you want to claim the error/deficiency. Finsnes Gaard AS will then give you information on what to do next. The rules on complaints can be found in the Consumer Purchase Act (Consumer Purchase Act).
 
Right of withdrawal
There is no right of withdrawal according to the Right of Cancellation Act on travel and residence.
 
Warranty
There is a guarantee in accordance with the Norwegian Act on Travel and Hotel Stays.
 
House rules
If there is a need for visits by more than what is booked for, this must be agreed in advance with Finsnes Gaard by contacting the general manager at mobile 48 25 00 20. Out of consideration for other guests and the farm's atmosphere, it is not permitted to hold "parties" in the sea houses or in the main building. It must be quiet at Finsnes Gaard at 11 p.m. If parties occurs after this time, the security service will be contacted and additional expenses of NOK 2,000 will be invoiced to the responsible tenant.
Note that the common areas outside and inside are video monitored.
Use of the common area and use of equipment associated with the common area is done at your own risk. A life jacket must be worn when using a boat, kayak and SUP.
The common areas must be kept tidy at all times. Also check that the door(s) are closed and locked when you leave. 
Pets are allowed at 1 sea house at Finsnes Gaard. Booking must be arranged.
